William Norman Hust (Bill)
was born October 15, 1929 to W.B. and Georgia (Elkins) Hust in Shelby county Tennessee. He was a graduate of Donaldson High School in Donaldson TN, Middle Tennessee State College in Murfreesboro, TN , Scarritt College in Nashville, TN and Chandler School of theology of Emory University in Atlanta, Goergia. He was also a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
Married to the former Judith Ann Porter for 62 years and together they had three children—Glenda Hust McNew (Jim), David William Hust (Laura Jo) and Sharon Hust Belew (Ray).
Seven grandchildren—Sarah Elizabeth McNew Schimming, Robert James McNew, William Jackson Hust, Joseph Rowland Hust, Leah Elizabeth Ann Hust, Rayburn Osten Belew Jr., Rebecca Noelle Belew.
Three great grandchildren---Michael Brian Schimming III, Liam David Gamsky Hust, Charlotte Grace Schimming.
He was a retired United Methodist minister of the Alabama West Florida Conference having served churches for 15 years. (Cottage Hill 1978----Marion Jct. 1981—Hurtsboro 1985—Georgiana 1989.
He retired in 1993. Prior to serving churches he worked with the Board of Missions of the Methodist Church at Yuma MethodistIndian Mission (Arizona)---the Methodist Mountain Missions (Kentucky)---and Mobile County Rural Center (Alabama). He worked as Dairy Herd Tester in Baldwin County and also Manpower Training in that county. He attended Morgan’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Bon Secour where he was honored with the status of Pastor Emeritus.

Services for Bill will be at Morgan's Chapel on Tuesday August 17. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Lunch will be served to the family at Morgan Chapel's Enfinger Center at noon.
Graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Rest Memorial Park.
